The Fabulous Baker Brothers to headline Stratford Food Festival

Showplace Events have announced that the dynamic Cotswold duo 'The Fabulous Baker Brothers' are set to headline this year's Stratford Upon Avon Food Festival in Warwickshire.

Tom and Henry Herbert have recently starred in their own series on Channel Four and are set to become Britain's next big thing as they go from strength to strength in the foodie industry. Not only are they successful TV personalities, but they are co-owners of their family business-The award winning Hobbs's House Bakery. Tom is the baker whilst Henry is a butcher, making them a diverse and captivating watch as they cook with the aim of inspiring people who had never given baking a second thought before- much like the food festival that is set to draw crowds of thousands once again this year.

As the headline act at this year's fantastic food festival set on the banks of the River Avon and the home of Shakespeare, The Fabulous Baker Brothers will do two cookery demonstrations on Sunday 23rd September along with book signings and meeting visitors of the event.

It is exciting to have the festival's first high profile act this year particularly as Stratford is set to become more popular than ever, with the celebrations for Shakespeare's birthday in the Spring and the Olympics celebrations in the Summer, what better way to start Autumn than by visiting the Foodie event of the Midlands- The Stratford Food Festival 2012.

The Festival is set to be bigger and better than ever playing host to Celebrity, local and Michelin starred chefs, a variety of interactive demonstrations, musical talents and a wide selection of artisan, local and national food producers.

The pair have their own cookery book out now and have already been commissioned for a second series of their show, so be prepared to see a lot more from these two in the months to come.
