To celebrate the launch of its 2012 summer season, Explore Montenegro is offering guests 10 or 11 nights for the price of 7 for all holidays booked for travel before the end of May 2012. This equates to a saving of up to 50%. The offer applies to all one week bookings which include flights and car hire. Those travelling on a Wednesday will receive four free nights and car hire, whilst Sunday departures can stay for an extra three nights with car hire.

Explore Montenegro is the first and only operator to offer a portfolio solely focused on Montenegro to the UK market. May is an ideal time to travel to Montenegro as spring takes full bloom – the trees fill the hills with bright chartreuse green and wild flowers carpet the region. Couples can enjoy a quiet romantic escape and families with young children can enjoy a break to make the most of a holiday before the height of summer.

Holidaymakers can also enjoy a range of activities with adventure tour company Black Mountain such as rafting the Tara Canyon (argued to be Europe’s deepest) and hiking the Austro-Hungarian pathways above the spectacular Bay of Kotor or the Durmitor National Park. All activities and excursions are bookable via Explore Montenegro.

Explore Montenegro, an ATOL-bonded tour operator that specialises in Montenegrin villas and apartments, offers a handpicked selection of over 40 holiday properties within its portfolio, catering for parties between two and 14. A range of villas with private pools are available for the school holiday period. Properties include lakeside Venetian palaces, traditional stone farmhouses and mountainside apartments.  The locations incorporate some of Montenegro’s most incredible backdrops, including the ancient city of Kotor, a UNESCO heritage site situated on the only natural fjord of its kind in the world; the peninsular of Lustica, a food lover’s haven with renowned local produce; and Budva, one of the Adriatic’s oldest cities.

Explore Montenegro offers return flights to the coastal airport of Tivat direct from London Gatwick on Wednesdays and Sundays with Montenegro Airlines.

Stay 10 nights for the price of 7 from £388pp at the newly opened boutique hotel “Kotor Wine Rooms”, including return flights and car hire, based on 2 adults and 2 children. For more information, visit exploremontenegro.com.
