Move fast for Miller Homes' Home Exchange programme

24th May 2012 Print

Moving home can be one of life’s greatest stresses – particularly if the property still has the for sale sign up. But that's not a problem thanks to Miller Homes' unique Home Exchange scheme, which enables sellers to move with ease.

Different from traditional part exchange, which usually requires a home owner to purchase a property worth at least 30 per cent more than their existing home to qualify, Miller Homes' Home Exchange scheme enables buyers to swap their old home for a brand new one, even if there is no difference between the value of the two, subject to a qualifying criteria.

Whether they want to upsize, downsize or simply go for a like-for-like new home, there’s an added treat in store for anyone who uses the scheme to reserve a Miller Homes’ property in Fife this weekend (26-27 May) - £700 towards removal fees.

And an IFA will also be on hand at four of the developments to provide free financial advice.

Anne Marie Britton, sales director for Miller Homes’ Scotland East, said: "Whether housebuyers want to move up or down the property ladder or simply exchange like for like, Home Exchange allows them to buy and sell in one easy move.

“It’s a fantastic incentive as it takes the uncertainty out of buying and selling. Plus, with no estate agency fees involved or last minute let downs, Home Exchange can help people move into a brand new home.

“And for housebuyers who reserve over the weekend, not only will they get £700 towards removal fees, an IFA will also be there to help with any financial queries.”

Expert advice will be available at:

Primrose Hill - IFA (26-27 May) 12 - 5pm/Home Exchange representative (26 May) 12 - 2.30pm
Regents Park - IFA and Home Exchange representative (26 May) 2.45 - 5.00pm
Balbirnie Bridge - IFA and Home Exchange representative (27 May) 12.00 - 2.30pm
Crystal Gait - IFA and Home Exchange representative ( 27 May) 2.45 - 5.00pm
