Family find their perfect Rugeley property
Young Staffordshire property-seekers Pippa and Chris discovered their dream house at Levett Grange, Taylor Wimpey’s development of new homes for sale in Rugeley.
When Pippa Lewitt and Chris Nesbitt found out they were expecting their third child they quickly realised their three-bed semi-detached property in Rugeley was no longer going to be big enough.
Fortunately, they knew they’d found the perfect place for their new family when they visited Taylor Wimpey’s Levett Grange development of houses for sale in Rugeley – and not a moment too soon as Pippa by then was heavily pregnant.
Thanks to the leading housebuilder’s fantastic easymover scheme, their move a couple of months later to the spacious four-bedroom ‘Marlow’ detached property for sale in Rugeley was stress-free, even though they now had baby Finley as well as Harry (3) and Archie (1) in tow!
Pippa (33) explains: “We just ran out of room in our old house and wanted to get a bigger property and we’ve found exactly what we were looking for at Levett Grange. It’s all worked out so well.
“When we walked into the house we purchased, we knew it was the one we wanted. There’s so much space in the hallway, it’s like having an extra room to play in. We use the dining room as a play room, because the kitchen is big enough for our table so we have our meals in there. The children are much happier because they’ve got all the space they need.”
The well-planned layout of the Levett Grange development also appealed to the couple as well as its desirable location on the outskirts of Rugeley.
“We just fell in love with the development,” says Pippa. “The houses are well spread out and there’s a play area next to the house, which really appealed. Now we’re here, it’s so handy with three little ones. We can walk out of our front door and the play area is right there!”
The easymover scheme delivered the best of both worlds for the couple – a hassle-free move in which Taylor Wimpey found a buyer for their existing property in Armitage, near Rugeley, and a better price for their old house than they would have received through Part Exchange.
Pippa comments: “Easymover was fantastic from start to finish. We managed to achieve more than we thought using the easymover scheme – without the need for Part Exchange.”
“People say moving house is stressful but it wasn’t for us – even though Finley was only eight weeks old when we moved in! In fact, it’s been a really pleasurable experience.”
The family have now settled down to life in their new home. Chris (29) takes the train to his job with Yellow Pages in Birmingham, while Harry starts at the nursery based at Chancel Primary School in September. Levett Grange is in the catchment area for the school, which has been rated good by Ofsted with some outstanding features and Pippa hopes the children will get a place there when it’s time for them to start school.
