Eat, stay, love: Foodie breaks at The Kings Arms
Renowned New Forest and South coast Chef, Alex Aitken, from Le Poussin (where he held Michelin stars for nearly 20 years) and Lime Wood is now creating dishes, menus and style at The Kings Arms Restaurant in Christchurch, Dorset; whilst still Chef Patron at The Jetty.
With his passion for locally sourced, simple, seasonal food - Alex has introduced three new foodie breaks, allowing guests to explore some great local food, all in the picturesque setting of Christchurch. The breaks on offer are:
Catch it! Cook it! Eat it, Stay! from £119pppn
Arrive to tea and cupcakes and take a stroll around Christchurch, with supper that evening in the Kings Arms restaurant - serving great local food from a fifteen mile radius.
On the second day, enjoy an early breakfast and then head off to meet the fishing boat on Christchurch Quay, for a three hour fishing trip with our local fishermen. Then it's back to the Kings with your catch, where Alex Aitken will show you how to prepare, cook and dress the perfect fishy feast.
Dinner on the second night is from Alex Aitken's 'Bring Me Food' menu, an opportunity to sample a fantastic selection of local dishes.

Discover and enjoy what the region of Dorset has to offer, with our exclusive two night food lovers' break.
Arrive to a bottle of sparkling wine, with some tasty local nibbles; then perhaps take a stroll along the banks of the river down past the Priory to Christchurch Quay. Enjoy dinner from our 'Fifteen Mile Menu' - even cooked by chefs who have lived and grown up in the fifteen mile radius.
After a day of exploring, dinner on the second night is down to Alex Aitken's jetty restaurant on the water's edge in Mudeford, for a fantastic three course meal. Then it's back to the Kings for a good night's sleep, followed by a full English breakfast the following day, before saying goodbye.
