Hollywood or bust as Marilyn Monroe tops cleavage charts
The legendary Marilyn Monroe was crowned as the number one busty idol in a poll by High Street retailer Debenhams.
Closely following the Hollywood star was another Holly, this time Britain’s own, Holly Willoughby (nicknamed Willoughbooby) and another famous busty Brit, Liz Hurley gained a firm spot at number three.
Interestingly, screen icon and septuagenarian Sophia Loren came in fifth place, showing that you don’t need to be a youngster to top the polls.

Over half of Debenhams’ female customers are DD+. With this in mind, the retailer asked 1,000 of its customers who bought its fuller bust range, Gorgeous, which famous female they thought had the best cleavage.
Says Sharon Webb, Head of Lingerie Buying and Design for Debenhams; “If you’ve got it flaunt it, but reveal your assets appropriately. It’s no surprise that Marilyn was voted number one; she clearly wore well fitting bras and never made a boob of herself; she knew how much décolletage to bear.”
Women with large busts face a unique set of challenges when shopping for flattering clothing. The key is investing in a decent bra and showing a respectable amount of cleavage.
