Buyers’ dream home is a 3-bed semi in the countryside
Bloor Homes highlights; recent research indicates that for many prospective house buyers, their dream home is a three bedroom semi-detached house in a rural setting.
A study, carried out by the AA as part their Home Emergency Response's research series, found that 18% of adults aspire to own a semi-detached house with two to three bedrooms, while the most desired location for 28% of people is a rural village.
As well as wanting to own a semi-detached home, the British also seem to be keen on large open plan living areas for entertaining family and friends.
Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director of Bloor Homes, comments: “We have recognised this desire for new homes in countryside settings and are responding to this demand with two developments in the Northamptonshire countryside.
