Lovell offers something for everyone at new Bryn Celyn development
Lovell believes the company’s brand-new housing development at Bryn Celyn, between Llanharry and Pontyclun, really does offer something for everyone.
The company recently started work on the £14 million development which will create 88, two-, three- and four-bedroom houses in an enviable village location within easy reach of Cardiff, making it perfect for commuters to the capital, and the Vale of Glamorgan.
“We’re very excited about this development and are already taking enquiries, with the development’s show house set to open in September,” says Lovell regional sales manager Kate Rees. “A brilliant location combined with an excellent selection of homes means that we genuinely believe that Bryn Celyn does offer something for everyone, whether you’re someone taking your first step on to the property ladder or a homeowner seeking a well-designed property that will enable you to enjoy more space and a village lifestyle – plus some great places to eat, drink and shop!”
Bryn Celyn, on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan, is just six miles from the picturesque walled town of Cowbridge where attractions include superb bars and restaurants alongside some fantastic independent shops and boutiques – the town’s been dubbed the Bond Street of Wales - and a farmers’ market. Other nearby villages include attractive Bryn Sadler and the thriving larger settlement of Pontyclun, with its family-run businesses and excellent shops, pubs and restaurants.
Extra good news for people buying their first home is that Lovell is working in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, to offer a limited number of two-bedroom homes at the development through the Homestep Retained Equity Scheme. This low-cost home ownership initiative enables qualifying first-time buyers to buy at 75 per cent of the open market price with the first of these homes set to be available in Spring 2013.
In response to the high level of early interest in the development Lovell will be shortly releasing the first homes, which will be ready to move into by Christmas this year, off-plan from their very successful Parc Eglwys development in Bassaleg.
