The launch of phase three at Bellway Homes’ Birchwood development in Cowdenbeath, Fife, sees the unveiling of an inspiring collection of several new house types that are certain to catch the attention of buyers with an eye for detail.

Ranging from two and three-bedroom terraced homes, to three bedroom semi-detached and detached properties and four-bedroom detached villas and mid-terrace townhouses, the mix of properties comes in no less that 14 very different designs, both in terms of their internal layout and the external facade.

While some of the properties are finished in traditional red brick, others feature a white exterior complemented in part with sandstone.

The individuality of the house types stamps Birchwood with its own character; whilst at the same time giving buyers an extensive choice. Further adding to the appeal of Birchwood, is that a number of the properties within the current phase are positioned towards an area of the development surrounded by rolling countryside.

Fraser Conn, Sales and Marketing Director at Bellway Homes, says: “Fife is a very active region in terms of the number of new developments being built, as demand for quality homes remains constant. This contributed in part to our decision to come up with several fresh styles and offer buyers something different. I’m confident their response to the new designs will be nothing less than positive.”

The Angus is an attractive two-bedroom terraced property, with a spacious lounge and well proportioned kitchen. This is an ideal first-time buyer home and for reservations during August, buyers can enjoy both the benefits of either ‘5% Deposit Paid’ or ‘Sharp Start’ shared equity service plus move in for just £99 reservation fee.

Another property making its debut, and one that is without doubt one of the most competitively priced homes in the Kingdom of Fife, is the four-bedroom Islay. Priced from only £149,995, this sprawling mid terrace townhouse spans three floors, including a ground floor with dining kitchen, cloakroom and spacious lounge with French doors. The first floor accommodates two double bedrooms and a family bathroom; while the second floor is home to the en-suite master bedroom and fourth bedroom.

Fraser Conn comments: “Viewers will be pleasantly surprised as to exactly how much square footage they can secure for their money with the Islay. It’s an impressive property in terms of layout and specification, which can be had for less than the price of a two bedroom apartment in the city.”

Whether it is a new property making its first appearance at Birchwood or an established house type, the high quality interior and finish remains the same. Every home comes equipped with a variety of useful and practical touches. Several properties benefit from large dining kitchens, complete with integrated appliances, and adjoining family area. Separate utility rooms, en-suite master-bedrooms and integral garages are other key features, making sure they suit families of any age or size.

The layout of the development has been specifically designed to provide local walk ways into the adjoining countryside and is also within easy reach of 1,200 acres of beautiful woodland at Lochore Meadows County Park.

Close to the nearby towns of Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy as well as all the leisure, cultural and retail pursuits of Scotland’s capital, Birchwood benefits from a semi-rural setting with accessible road links to the A92 and M90. The area enjoys a number of local services, from primary and secondary schools, supermarkets and a wide-choice of shops on Cowdenbeath’s busy high street.

Prices at Birchwood are currently released from £118,995. For more information, visit bellway.co.uk.
