Faith Dickey performs slackline stunt between moving Volvo trucks

The scene is set in a deserted area on a closed highway in Croatia, where Faith Dickey, world champion slackliner, is attempting the most intense stunt in the history of slacklining. In harsh winds and while moving at a high speed, she sets out to cross a line tensioned between two speeding Volvo trucks heading towards a slim tunnel. She must cross the line before they drive into the tunnel or she will be smashed against the tunnel walls.

As the first attempt of performing this nerve-wracking stunt nearly goes terrible wrong, the tension rises. The strong wind generated by the two moving trucks moving at a high speed, quickly proves to be one of Faith Dickeys most difficult performances to date. As she reaches the middle of the line, the tunnel approaches way too fast. Faith moves her focus towards the tunnel for a split second and realizes the massive time pressure. Only few seconds later the line breaks.

Faith Dickey just performed the world’s first moving slackline stunt, which requires perfect sync between, trucks, drivers and slackliner. As the medics on the location phrase it “it’s crazy!”
