Are you planning to wait for the schools to go back in September before you take your holiday? Are you looking for somewhere you can completely relax whilst having plenty around to do to entertain your little ones? Look no further, avoid the crowds and book a mid week break at East Devon's highly impressive, award-winning Hembury Court this Autumn.

Positioned in a beautiful rural area on the edge of the Blackdown Hills, Hembury Court consists of four 5 star luxury holiday cottages (sleeping 2, 4, 5 or 6), all of extremely high standard.  Just a short walk from the unique thatched village of Broadhembury, with its delightful shop, tea room and pub, it is perfectly placed to explore the best that Devon has to offer.

By taking a mid week break you'll not only find that you have all the attractions you visit practically to yourselves, you'll also get extremely good value for money.  Hembury Court, despite being up there with top places to stay in this area in terms of the accommodation and the facilities, is at the lower end of the price bracket.

There's plenty to keep you occupied at Hembury Court without going far. As well as many other facilities, there is a fitness centre which looks out on to the picturesque views and a hot tub. There are also numerous walks and cycle paths for you to explore. Don't forget to bring your bicycles!  Tired mothers can be pampered onsite with a massage or facial from a local, visiting beautician. In addition, in the stunning Oak Cruck there's a magnificent games room where you can relax with a book or paper or try your hand at one of the board games. There's table tennis and table football if you're feeling more active. The lovely owners, Mandy and Robert, will even organise one of their infamous treasure hunts around the village!

In addition to all the comforts provided in your well equipped and comfortable cottage, there's an abundance of both indoor and outdoor space. The parking is straightforward too as it's right behind the cottages so there's no need to lug bags far. If you've got a little baby Hembury Court will provide a travel cot and highchair and pretty much everything you're likely to need, so you can just pack the essentials.

There is so much to see and do around East Devon for young families. The Jurassic Coast is a huge draw with its stunning beaches at Sidmouth, Beer and Branscombe. Local National Trust houses include Killerton House, Powderham Castle and Knightshayes.

There's the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth; the Country Life museum in Exmouth; Diggerland in Cullompton; Crealy Adventure Park; Escot Gardens, Park and Maze; The Playdome in Honiton... the list is endless.

As for eating out, you're spoilt for choice in the nearby vicinity. There are plenty of family friendly restaurants and pubs. However, if you fancy a special evening out without the children, within a thirty minute radius there are lots of gourmet options. You could enjoy the delights on offer at The Holt in Honiton, go to the infamous Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall's River Cottage Canteen and Deli in Axminster, the highly renowned Jack In The Green on the outskirts of Exeter or the exquisite Combe House Hotel in Gittisham.   Mandy and Robert can organise babysitters and, if required, taxis so you're free to come and go as you please. Hembury Court has won numerous awards, including most recently Silver in the Visit Devon tourism awards.

Easily accessible from both the M5 and the A30, Hembury Court is also in between two main rail lines from London and the rest of the country.
