With a very quick hat-trick of sales ‘off-plan’, Oaklands in Easingwold shows all the signs of being one of Redrow Homes’ most popular developments.

There may not be a show home to view yet but that hasn’t stopped would-be home owners appreciating the quality and finish that’s to be expected from Redrow’s homes.

Sales consultant Nanette Kyle is celebrating her first three reservations and says that the sought-after location is a key factor in the success.

“Easingwold is a lovely location and the development is proving popular with downsizers who have local connections or are returning here. We’re opposite a high school with a good reputation so I expect it to become popular with families too,” she said.

As well as being surrounded by some beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, the popular market town is rapidly making a name for itself as a ‘food lover’s paradise’, with award winning delis, tearooms and restaurants all found locally.

Just off the main A19, roughly midway between York and Thirsk, Easingwold also offers good commuter access to both places as well as Leeds and Harrogate.

“Buying off-plan at an early stage in the development means purchasers have more chance of getting their preferred plot and can also have a greater say in personalising their home through different interior finishes, options and upgrades,” Nanette added.

Redrow’s development in York Road features bespoke designs with exteriors that reflect the Georgian architecture of the town. Current availability includes three and four-bedroom homes from £258,999 to £379,999.

Inside, these traditional looking homes are bright, modern and full of family-friendly features. Open plan layouts will put well equipped kitchens at the heart of the homes. Practical yet stylish, those kitchens will boast integrated top brand name appliances including oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

Construction of show homes is underway and they are due to open later this year. In the meantime customers have been travelling to other Redrow developments to see examples of their homes. They can also take a virtual tour of lots of different show homes around the UK via broadband television channel, Redrow.TV.

In addition to the three reservations, Nanette has also signed up would-be purchasers to Mastermove, which helps those with an existing property to sell.

“We help sell their home for them by arranging valuations, appointing an approved estate agent to act on their behalf, monitoring the agent’s activities and ultimately paying their selling fees,” Nanette explained. “It’s all about making it easy for people to own a brand new Redrow home.”
