12th September 2012 Print

Aspiring dancing fans can reach the giddy heights of the stars on “Strictly Come Dancing” this autumn on a dance weekend break at the Castle Inn Hotel with top dance specialists.

Providing an opportunity to perfect intricate dance moves of Social Ballroom and Latin American the weekend combines daytime workshops and a special gala dinner dance.

The four star Castle Inn Hotel is hosting the exciting and friendly dance weekend over 19-22 October 2012 on the Lake District’s largest sprung dance floor.

Expert tuition is by Philip Wylie, a former top class amateur and professional competitor and adjudicator at the International Championships, and Christine Parsons a former Old Time and Sequence dance champion.

Regardless of ability the weekend of dancing is fantastic for all ages whether participants are taking their first steps or an accomplished dancer.

Dancing at the Castle Inn Hotel costs £192.50 per person for two nights or £242.50 per person for three nights in a double/twin en-suite room. This includes dinner, bed and breakfast, attendance to the Gala Dinner on the Saturday and a full dance programme. Non-residents can enjoy the Bucks Fizz reception, Gala Dinner and evening dance and cabaret entertainment on 20 October for £42 per person. Three days of dance workshops can also be enjoyed for only £60 per person.

Located in a picturesque setting overlooking some of the Lake District's highest fells, the Castle Inn Hotel is only eight miles from Keswick at the top of Bassenthwaite. Originally a 1770 Lake District Coaching Inn it has been completely transformed into a modern contemporary venue with 46 large bedrooms. Within the hotel is a Fitness Centre, large swimming pool, sauna, steam room and tennis court.
