Local housebuilder Morris has made a range of buying schemes available at its Wilton park development in Radcliffe to help Manchester househunters invest in a new home.

It is offering the government-led NewBuy scheme as well its own 100 per cent part exchange scheme to make the house buying process easier.

NewBuy is a government initiative which enables potential homebuyers to apply for a 95% mortgage on selected new-build homes across the country. Under the scheme, both first time buyers and existing homeowners can climb the property ladder and only need a five per cent deposit.

Morris’ part exchange scheme is solely for househunters looking to trade-up the property ladder as it allows them to sell their existing property to the housebuilder at 100 per cent of its market value.

It means people can reserve a new home without having to find a buyer for their existing property, cutting out stressful property chains and meaning they could move homes in just four weeks.

Regional sales director for Morris, Chris Minshall, said: “The variety of homes available at Wilton Park means it is ideal for both young couples and families alike so our schemes are designed to make the house buying process easier for both groups.

“NewBuy allows househunters to buy their first home with less up-front costs while the part exchange scheme means families are able to move homes quickly without the usual hassle.”

Wilton Park is conveniently located near to a range of shops and schools and it has excellent Metrolink and motorway access to Manchester.

The housebuilder currently has a range of one to three-bedroom properties available from £84,750. There are currently only two four-bedroom detached homes remaining at the development with prices starting from £229,750.
