Exclusive development scoops award

Large and luxurious new homes in Sheffield have not only scored highly with discerning buyers, but also with judges in the UK Property Awards.

Ringinglow Gardens has won an award for Best Development and homebuilder Redrow will find out next month whether it’s the top five star award or highly commended.

The level of the award will be revealed at a gala dinner at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London on October 12.

It’s great news for the prestigious venture in Ringinglow Road, where only one home remains to be sold.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), commented: “Ringinglow Gardens offers a winning combination of superior specification homes in a desirable location, which has helped make it a success with discerning buyers. The small and intimate nature of the development, with just 11 homes, also makes it very special.

“We’re delighted that this has been recognised by the judges in the UK Property Awards with an award in the best development category and we are very much looking forward to attending the gala dinner.”

Ringinglow Gardens was launched in April 2011, featuring some of the largest homes from Redrow’s popular New Heritage Collection. Influenced by the architecture of the Arts & Crafts era, the homes display all of the character of older ‘period’ style properties but enjoy the energy efficient and low maintenance benefits of being brand new.

The premium quality, family friendly homes were considered perfect for the S11 postcode, known as one of the best places locally to live.

“With just a single five-bedroom detached Buckingham-style property still available, there’s a final opportunity for one buyer to be call this award-winning development ‘home’. But time is of the essence as we’ll soon be celebrating a sell-out, along with our award win,” Patsy added.

“Luckily, for those with a home of their own to sell, we’re now offering part exchange. It could really speed up the home buying process as we will effectively buy the customer’s home so that they can buy one of ours. There’s no need to worry about getting caught up in a housing chain and no estate agent’s fees to pay.”

The Buckingham at Ringinglow Gardens is priced at £699,999.

Those using part-exchange generally need to be moving up to something that costs at least 35% more than their existing property is worth.
