With the chance to save thousands off the initial price of a brand new home, the extension of FirstBuy is great news for would-be home owners.

The incentive offers first time buyers the chance to reduce the cost of setting up home with the help of an equity loan for up to 20% of the price. “It may seem complicated, but in simple terms FirstBuy could help aspiring home owners make that all-important first step onto the housing ladder as it significantly reduces the cost of the home they’re buying,” Claire adds. “Provided their total annual income is less than £60,000 they should be eligible for the valuable help and if they come along to our event they can find out all about it.”
