First time buyer event in Fleetwood

4th October 2012 Print

Aspiring home owners should make Harbour Village in Fleetwood their next port of call if they want to learn how Redrow’s easi:buy scheme could help them cut the cost of setting up home.

The incentive offers first time buyers the chance to reduce the cost of setting up home with the help of an equity loan for up to 20% of the price. And to explain how first time buyers can benefit, Redrow is holding a special event at Harbour Village this Saturday (October 6).

Mortgage specialists, along with Redrow’s friendly experienced sales consultants, will be on hand to guide customers through the application process, making it as simple and straight forward as possible.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our easi:buy scheme as it provides a lifeline to those who are stepping on the property ladder by significantly reducing the cost of the home they’re buying.”

With the chance to defer paying 20% of the cost, eligible customers may only need a deposit of 5% of the purchase price and a mortgage for the remaining 75% to secure a brand new home.

Prices at Harbour Village start from £121,995 for a two-bedroom home.

With easi:buy a three-bedroom Broadway style home that’s ready to move into could be secured with a deposit of £7,150 and a mortgage for £107,246. With the deferred payment covering the remaining £28,599.

“It may seem complicated, but in simple terms easi:buy could help aspiring home owners make that all-important first step onto the housing ladder as it significantly reduces the cost of the home they’re buying,” Claire adds. “If they come along to our event they can find out all about it.”

Harbour Village is a hidden gem close to Fleetwood Marina. The development is bounded by the Wyre Estuary, which is noted for its population of wintering birds, and the Fleetwood Marsh Nature Reserve.

The peaceful surroundings of the homes belie the close proximity to good local amenities, including a supermarket, dozens of shops at Freeport Fleetwood and a choice of schools. The M55 and the north west motorway network are easily accessible via the A585, which reaches into the heart of the town.

To find out how easi:buy could help you onto the property ladder, visit the development off Amounderness Way this Saturday (October 6).
