Leading developer Bloor Homes is hosting a part exchange event over the weekend of 20th and 21st October at two developments in Northamptonshire; St Mary’s Gate in Bozeat and The Lanterns in Irthlingborough.

According to research from reallymoving.com the average cost of moving house in the UK is £8,264, with the greatest expense being estate agent fees which can set you back as much as £4,104 on the sale price of a UK property valued at £228,000.

Bloor is offering a money saving opportunity to swap your old home at 105% of its market value, for a brand new home, with the added advantage that the entire purchase process can be completed within a matter of weeks.

Vanessa Macnee, Sales Director of Bloor Homes comments: “By part exchanging their current property, purchasers not only save money but also avoid the hassle of becoming stuck in a selling chain, which means they can focus on moving into their brand new Bloor home.”

“If you express an interest in purchasing a new home through our part exchange offer, one of our sales consultants will discuss the scheme with you and ensure your existing property matches our standard criteria. We will then commission three independent market valuations of your property by local estate agents. Based on the valuations and subject to the survey, if you are happy with the offer we make, the purchase process can be simply completed from there as though you were a cash buyer.”

“We will purchase the property from you and take on full responsibility for selling it on. Once contracts are signed you will be free to move into your new home as soon as it is completed.”

St Mary’s Gate is a collection of three and four bedroom homes located in the ancient village of Bozeat, an area surrounded by plenty of green open countryside. Each house type has been sympathetically designed to complement the local vernacular and to reflect the peaceful environment that comes from living in a rural location.

Currently available is a selection of three bedroom new homes in various styles with prices ranging from £169,950 to £184,950.

The Lanterns is located in Irthlingborough, a town with a wonderful community spirit set in the midst of beautiful countryside. The development comprises a range of well-proportioned two, three and four bedroom houses.

The homes feature bright, airy living spaces with modern fitted kitchens and contemporary bathrooms. Prices start at £124,950 for the two-bedroom Affric, rising to £224,950 for the four-bedroom Somerby.
