Val d'Isère, France, is one of the world's most exclusive skiing destinations, ideal for all levels, and boasting a fabulous range of slopes within the Espace Killy. Val d'Isère Opens New Fontaine Froide Chairlift For 2012/13 Season

Brand new for the 2012/13 season, Val d'Isère will see the opening of the new Fontaine Froide chairlift this winter. Giving access to the Bellevarde ski area, the new 6-seater Fontaine Froide chairlift has been constructed with a higher arrival point than its predecessor, right next to the Olympique cable car arrival area.

Patisserie and Cookery Classes With Top French Chefs

Benoît Vidal will be holding cooking lessons throughout winter at the restaurant L'Atelier Edmond where guests can discover how to create amuse-bouche, starters, main courses and desserts to enjoy together that evening. Situated at the bottom of the Fornet-Pissaillas run, 2km from Val d'Isère village centre, L'Atelier d'Edmond oozes rustic alpine charm. Guests of Val d'Isère can also enjoy French patisserie lessons from one of France's most acclaimed chefs, Patrick Chevallot who is renowned for pastry making.

New Gourmet Restaurant 'Le Cascade' Opens For The New Season

Located at the foot of the Pissaillas Glacier, Le Cascade is one of the latest gastronomic offerings in the Le Fornet area. Having received considerable praise for its excellent food and reasonable prices, Le Cascade is set to become a lively and popular destination for skiers this season.

Critérium de Première Neige- 7th  - 15th December 2012

Classicaval Festival- 22nd - 24th January 2013 & 19th - 21st March 2013

Classicaval Festival is a celebration of the most talented and acclaimed classical artists. The well renowned festival brings together music lovers from far and wide and has done since 1993.
