As the final Twilight movie opens worldwide on 16 November, fans of Bella and Edward can haunt their footsteps in Washington State, courtesy of holiday company Tour America Direct.

Fly into Seattle, where the city’s cinemas are planning a Twilight Saga Marathon showing of all five films (including Breaking Dawn Part 2), for a three-night stay in the Warwick Seattle Hotel.  It is in the heart of the city, only four blocks from lively Pike Place Market and within walking distance of both the futuristic Space Needle with its 520-foot high observation deck, and the city’s historic Pioneer Square.

Pick up a hire car and head west, around Puget Sound towards Port Angeles, a coastal town with easy access to Twilight locations, including Bella Italia, the restaurant where Edward and Bella had their first date.  The Quality Inn Uptown has views both of Port Angeles harbour and the Olympic National Park.

From here it is an hour’s drive along Highway 101, around and through the beautiful rain forest (where the vampires live) to the little community of Forks: Twilight town itself.

Forks photo-opportunities include the town’s welcome sign, Bella’s red truck at the Visitor Centre, Forks High School and the Hospital, not to mention the Dazzled by Twilight shop for the best souvenirs.  On your way back to Port Angeles, be sure to take a turn off into the amazing forest, but don’t stay out after dark… Further information at forkswa.com/twilight

Tour America Direct’s Twilight package costs from £879 per person based on two people sharing a room and including return scheduled flights from Heathrow to Seattle, five nights’ room-only accommodation (three in Seattle, two in Port Angeles) and five days’ car hire.
