New to the Swiss resort of Verbier this December is Hotel Cordée des Alpes - a luxurious hotel with innovative interiors mixing the best of old-school ski and the latest in Swiss chic. Comprising 34 suites and guest rooms and 14 exclusive residences for ownership, Cordée des Alpes marks the latest offering from local hotel and restaurant entrepreneur Marcus Bratter, responsible for launching Nevaï -Verbier’s first contemporary design hotel, the all-suite King’s Parc Hotel and après-ski hotspot The Farm Club. Cordée des Alpes will ensure a service that reflects a passion for excellence that has been honed by Marcus’s years of local knowledge.

Interior Design & Style

Designed with both International and local architects using the finest local materials and finishings, the hotel’s innovative interiors mix the best of old-school-ski - with vintage ski design elements harking back to the early 1900s - and the latest in Swiss chic. Wooden skis adorn the rustic walls, hand knotted carpets from Nepal frequent the floor spaces, whilst stylish black & white etchings are on display behind reception and throughout the corridors.

Guestrooms and Suites

Spanning seven guestroom, suite and apartment categories – Comfort Room, Superior Room, Deluxe Room, Elegance Suite, Prestige Suite, Exclusive Suite & Cordée Apartments - each room provides a cosy and intimate space for post-mountain activity relaxation.

As well as a well-stocked mini-bar, en-suite bath/shower rooms and the indulgent interiors expected in a luxury hotel, Cordée des Alpes’ rooms feature comprehensive state-of-the-art technology; flat screen televisions and video on demand – providing access to all the latest movies – an iPad communicator that allows guests to explore and benefit from all the hotel’s facilities and services at the touch of its screen, iPod dock and complimentary WiFi.

La Cordée Spa

La Cordée Spa is an indulgent wellness area complete with 15 metre swimming pool, looking out onto the mountaintops, a high-tech gym with pilates area and authentically Alpine steam and sauna rooms centred around a cold shower with stone bed and foot baths. After a hard day on the mountain guests can retreat to the spa’s treatment rooms for a myriad of therapies from facials to hot stone massages.

Cordée des Alpes’ intimate restaurant will serve a gastronomic menu of local and fresh flavours whilst Cordée des Alpes’ stylish bar, with its hearty open fire, will offer freshly made tea and cakes each afternoon and cocktails daily providing a welcoming yet chic space for both cosy days in and après ski.

Meetings and Incentives

Cordée des Alpes offers two conference rooms, catering up to 30 guests, for mountaintop meetings. Each room has a large flat screens, surround sound and a beamer for presentations and movies, as well as complimentary WiFi throughout. For those who like to mix business with pleasure, the Cordée des Alpes team can arrange all manner of incentives– from heliskiing to private dining, cultural activities to mountain top hiking.
