While many people wait until the New Year to give serious thought to snapping up a brand new home, Linden Homes is helping to make that process as easy as possible.

With a number of incentives to kickstart the house buying journey, now is a great time to start thinking about a dream home for 2013!

Whether you have an existing home to sell, are looking to move to a fantastic village location or just need a little assistance in making the dream come true – Linden Homes can help.

A number of incentives are currently available at the prestigious Roman View development in Greens Norton, a lively village on the edge of Northamptonshire comprising a range of one, two, thee and four-bedroom homes set in a private cul-de-sac location.

Perfectly positioned just two miles to the north west of Towcester, many of the homes will enjoy panoramic rural views across open countryside. Current prices range from £199,500 to £389,950.

With Milton Keynes just 10 miles away, and Northampton only eight, Greens Norton is the ideal commutable location.

Incentives to help you get moving include:

Government-backed FirstBuy. In a nutshell, the scheme allows eligible buyers to own 100 per cent of their new homes but pay as little as 80 per cent of the price. A minimum five per cent deposit is required, and the Government and Linden Homes provide a 20 per cent equity loan, repayable on the resale of the property. But hurry this scheme comes to an end in February 2013.

Meanwhile for those with an existing home to sell, there is the Part Exchange scheme. Under the incentive, Linden Homes will arrange for at least two independent valuations of your existing home and will make you an offer based on their suggestions. Once you agree the offer, and subject to satisfactory surveys, Linden Homes becomes your buyer, freeing you up to reserve your new home. And after that, it's a case of setting a moving-in date, boxing up your things and look forward to a chain–free move.

Another popular scheme to help secure your brand new home is Assist. In a similar way to part exchange, this incentive offers practical assistance to those who have set their heart on a new home but are struggling to sell their existing property. By paying a reservation fee, you new home will be secured for a specified time whilst estate agents work to sell your existing home within a pre-agreed time scale. Should the home remain unsold at the end of the agreed time frame, the deposit is refunded or the selling period extended.

Step Up. Exclusive to Linden Homes, Step Up is an innovative new limited deposit scheme enabling buyers to borrow up to 95 per cent of the purchase price with a market-leading rate and secure a brand new Linden home. Requirements include a minimum deposit of five percent and a reservation fee of between £500 and £1,000.

Linden Homes sales director Chris Roads said: “Many people wait until Christmas is out of the way before really turning their attention to moving house, and indeed buying a brand new home.

“With a so many incentives available, the New Year is a great time to think seriously about moving to Roman View or indeed at any of our developments – many of which are close to excellent schools, great amenities and easy road and rail links, but all of which boast wonderfully designed quality homes.”

The Roman View sales and marketing suite and stunning show home are open from Thursday to Monday from 10.30am - 5pm. Alternatively, visit lindenhomes.co.uk.
