Give up paying interest and fees for the New Year

Halifax has launched a new offer for those who sign up for the All in One credit card in branch when they switch their current account to Halifax.

A customer who transfers a £2,500 balance (average balance transfer is £2,139 (BBA, Oct 2012)) would save £396 over the 12 months and an additional £75 from a 100% balance transfer fee refund on the standard 3% fee.

Following the launch of Halifax's new current account switching initiative, those moving their current account to Halifax will also benefit from £100 on the day they switch and 12 months interest free current account overdraft.

Richard Washington, Halifax Credit Cards, says: "Customers who apply for an All in One credit card will receive 0% for 12 months on credit and store card balance transfers and up to 100% of the balance transfer fee refunded, as well as 0% for 12 months on purchases - this really is a great offer for the New Year. This latest credit card offer offers real value.  Customers could save nearly £400 on a £2,500 balance transfer over the first year"*.

All in One credit card offer:

To qualify for the 100% fee refund customers must apply for an All in One credit card in branch and switch their current account between 2 January and 3 March, and transfer a balance in branch to their All in One credit card by 31 March.

Customers who sign up for an All in One credit card but don't switch their current account to Halifax will still have 50% of their balance transfer fee refunded.

The full 3% balance transfer fee will be charged when each balance transfer is made, with the refund applied at a later date.

The average balance transfer is £2,139. Transferring a balance of £2,500 with a 100% balance transfer fee refund, customers will save an average of £75. Those who don't switch their current account to Halifax and receive a 50% balance transfer fee refund will save an average of £37.50.

This offer is only available to new credit card customers.

Minimum £100 balance transfer amount applies.
