A perennial Chinese New Year favourite for Londoners, this year an overnight stay at Dorchester Collection’s iconic British hotel, The Dorchester, will secure a guaranteed dinner reservation at China Tang at The Dorchester.

Offering some of the best and most authentic Cantonese food outside China, the restaurant’s Chinese New Year celebrations are booked months in advance. The menus includes contemporary Cantonese food alongside more classic dishes, such as Peking duck, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and traditional spices. On the Sunday, diners can also enjoy a special ‘Year of the Snake’ set menu including Snake Soup with Fish Maw amongst other China Tang favourites, subject to availability.

The nearby China Tang Bar - a favourite haunt with London celebrities - offers an extensive list of classic cocktails and the private dining rooms, Ping, Pang and Pong, are wonderful options for those wanting a more exclusive dining experience.

Conceived by Sir David Tang, the founder of China Clubs in Hong Kong, Peking and Singapore, as well as the life-style brand, “Shanghai Tang”, the restaurant is a sumptuous 1930s Shanghai art deco-inspired space filled with an abundance of chinoiserie and quirky artwork.

Available Sunday 10 February 2013, celebrate Chinese New Year at The Dorchester at £1,260 including VAT, based on two people sharing a Junior Suite, subject to availability. For further information or to make a booking, email reservations.uk[at]dorchestercollection.com.
