easyJet launches ticket sales for its London - Moscow flights

easyJet has announced that tickets are now on sale for its flights between London and Moscow, with the inaugural flight scheduled to take off from London Gatwick on Monday 18 March 2013.

Flight prices start from £47.49 one way*. Flights between the two cities will operate once a day from 18 March increasing to twice daily from 15 April.

Paul Simmons, easyJet's UK Director commented: "We are delighted to offer our flights for sale for less than £100 return on this landmark route. It will be both easier and more affordable than ever before to fly between the two capital cities.

“Flights between Manchester and Moscow went on sale last month and have exceeded our expectations in terms of demand and we expect London to perform at least as well. Around a quarter of a million passengers will fly with easyJet between London Gatwick and Moscow in our first year of operations. We look forward to welcoming our first passengers onboard on 18 March."

From 18 March the four daily flights will depart at 07:00 and arrive at Moscow Domededovo Airport at 13:50 with the return flight departing Moscow Domededovo Airport at 14:30 and arriving into London Gatwick at 15:40. From 15 April a second daily flight will operate departing London Gatwick at 14:10 arriving into Moscow Domededovo at 21:00, returning at 21:40 and arriving into London Gatwick at 22:50.
