Home buyers can find out about the new homes available at The Lanterns in Irthlingborough during the open weekend of 9th/10th February and at the same time enter a competition to win an iPad if they register for a new home.

At the open weekend staff will be on hand to advise potential and existing homeowners about the schemes on offer here such as FirstBuy, NewBuy and Part Exchange. They will also be able to view the popular two bedroom Marford and three bedroom Bampton show homes.

The FirstBuy scheme enables first time buyers to purchase their own home with a mortgage of up to 80% of the property value, with the remaining 20% provided as an equity loan from the Government and Bloor Homes.

The NewBuy scheme isn’t restricted to just first time buyers and there is no salary cap for eligibility. This scheme enables homeowners the chance to purchase a home with as little as a 5% deposit.

The part exchange scheme offers a money saving opportunity to swap your old home at 100% of its market value, for a brand new home, with the added advantage that the entire purchase process can be completed within a matter of weeks.

Currently on offer at The Lanterns is a range of two, three and four bedroom brand new homes which have been completed to a very high specification and FirstBuy is available on the two and three bedroom homes. The specification includes solar panels, wardrobes to the master bedroom and spotlights to the kitchen, ensuite and bathroom.

The two bedroom Marford is a popular two bedroom home featuring an entrance hall and cloak room, leading to a spacious lounge, an open plan kitchen/dining area, with French doors leading out to the rear garden. The first floor consists of two bedrooms and a bathroom, with the master bedroom benefiting from ensuite facilities.

The three bedroom Bampton features a spacious lounge, with an open plan kitchen / dining area with French doors leading to the rear garden. This property also includes useful storage space in the form of a utility and cloakroom. Upstairs, the double master bedroom benefits from both fitted wardrobes and en suite facilities, with a further two bedrooms and a modern family bathroom.
