New two-year balance transfer card offer is MBNA’s longest ever

MBNA launches its longest ever balance transfer credit card offering up to two years of interest-free borrowing.
 
The new MBNA Platinum balance transfer credit card offers eligible new customers up to 24 months at zero percent on balance transfers and money transfers made within the first 60 days of opening an account. The handling fee for balance transfers is 3.2 percent and a 4 percent fee applies to money transfers.
 
The card, available exclusively on the MBNA website, also offers zero percent on purchases for three months from the date the account is opened.

The new product means MBNA now offers a suite of longer-term balance transfer offers to UK consumers, ranging from 22 to 24 months. A 22-month MBNA Platinum balance transfer credit card (with 2.5 percent fee on balance transfers*) is also available exclusively on MBNA's website. Plus, a new 23-month MBNA Platinum balance transfer credit card (with 2.5 percent fee on balance transfers*) and a new 22-month MBNA Platinum balance transfer credit card (with 2 percent fee on balance transfers*) are available now on a range of price comparison websites.
 
* Applies to balance transfers made within the first 60 days of opening an account.
