Morris Homes has achieved a record number of sales at The Grange development in Audenshaw with more than £3.5 million worth of property sold since the start of 2013.

Two thirds of all properties at the development are now sold with the housebuilder attributing the success to buyers looking for new family homes.

Many buyers also took advantage of Morris’ part exchange scheme. The initiative allows homeowners to sell their property to Morris for 100% of its market value if they buy a new Morris home in return. It means buyers can avoid estate agent fees and be in their new home in a matter of weeks.

Chris Minshall, regional sales director for Morris, said: “The part exchange scheme means buying a new home at The Grange is a great investment for the future.

“We’ve been inundated with enquiries since the start of the year, particularly from families looking for a new start.
“The part exchange scheme has been particularly popular but is only available on selected properties so anyone interested should arrange a viewing as soon as possible.”

The Grange is located close to Audenshaw Reservoir and is near to the planned Metrolink route due to be finalised in 2013. Prices at the development start from £124,750.
