Commuters into London have a superb chance to cut both their travel times and the cost of buying a brand new home at Taylor Wimpey’s Waterside Grange development in Langley.

The multi-billion pound Crossrail scheme will dramatically improve links between 37 railway stations in west, east and central London – including Langley and Slough stations, which are both just a short distance from the sought-after development.

Up to four Crossrail services an hour will leave Langley railway station for central London once the line opens in 2018, with journey times to Paddington reduced from over half an hour to an estimated 24 minutes.

A major milestone for the project was recently reached when three new bridges were lifted into place at Langley. As work progresses, housing experts are predicting that property prices along the route could soar by up to 44%!

And with the Government’s Help to Buy scheme offering would-be buyers a chance to secure a new home for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit – there’s never been a better time to move to Waterside Grange.

Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The Crossrail service is set make this highly desirable location even more popular and send property prices soaring, so it makes perfect sense for home-hunters to get in early to secure their place at Waterside Grange.

“Anyone interested in snapping up a stunning home at this superb development should contact us today – to find out how they can get ‘Help to Buy’ before demand goes through the roof!”

Under Help to Buy, a Government loan of up to 20% is provided to help eligible customers to purchase any new-build property up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for customers using the scheme and it is available to both first-time buyers and those looking to take the next step up the property ladder.

The one-bedroom Plot 70 ‘Milton House’ apartment, for example, can be secured under Help to Buy for 80% of its £175,000 full price – that’s just £140,000, including a 5% deposit of only £8,750.

This stylish property benefits from a contemporary kitchen/dining/living room, a good-sized master bedroom, a study and a bathroom, plus allocated parking outside.

Alternatively, two-bedroom apartments are currently available at Waterside Grange from as little as £210,000 (Help to Buy prices from £168,000), and three and four-bedroom houses from only £335,000 (Help to Buy prices from £268,000).

All new homes at the development are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Waterside Grange is the perfect haven for commuters, with selected properties enjoying peaceful views across an attractive rural stretch of the Grand Union Canal yet with Langley railway station just a short walk away.

The new homes are located off Middlegreen Road, Langley, within easy reach of the village’s everyday facilities including a post office, medical centre, leisure centre, and places to eat out. Langley’s charming historic buildings include St Mary's Church and the Kedermister Library, 17th century almshouses and the Red Lion Pub.

Families will appreciate that there are schools for children of all ages just a short distance away, with the opportunity of a grammar school education at Langley Grammar School, just over a mile from home, for those passing the entrance exam.

Junction 5 of the M4 is just two miles from the development while Langley railway station currently offers regular services to Paddington in a little over half an hour, and direct links to Reading and Oxford.
