Taylor Wimpey to host First Time Buyer Event in Fife

6th May 2013 Print

Taylor Wimpey East Scotland is running a first-time buyer event from 12-4pm on Sunday 12 May at its Fordell Lea development in Dunfermline - offering first-time buyers the opportunity to take advantage of a superb combination of incentives that are designed to get them on the move to a new home. Plus there’s free access to an IFA offering free and independent financial advice, and the chance to enter a free prize draw to win an iPad.

Visitors to the event can get more information on how to take advantage of the Scottish Government supported MI New Home scheme which offers up to 95% loan to value mortgages on properties up to £250,000. Alternatively, they could consider how Taylor Wimpey’s extended Easystart shared equity scheme, which is now available on selected new homes at Fordell Lea upto £250,000, might help them to take that first important step onto the property ladder.

Plus, at this event, first time buyers can also secure their move to a new home with an initial reservation fee of just £99* (normally £500) for reservations made by 30 May, 2013.

Taylor Wimpey is committed to helping first-time buyers to get that first important foot onto the property ladder – whether that’s access to free expert advice or offering a range of incentives that can be tailored to individual buyers’ circumstances as Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland adds: “First time buyers can feel their first step onto the property ladder is daunting, but our package of incentives is designed to make their move as stress-free and affordable as possible.

“I’d encourage all buyers whether first-time buyer or indeed existing homeowners to pop along to Fordell Lea on Sunday 12 May to see how Taylor Wimpey can help to get them on the move. Whilst MI New Home or shared equity could be the solution for some buyers, others need help in different ways. Our fully-trained staff can chat through all the options to ensure our buyers get the best tailor-made solution to be able to move to one of our new homes.”

Fordell Lea, located on Middlebank Rise in Dunfermline, offers an impressive choice of two, three and four bedroom homes as well as two bedroom apartments from Taylor Wimpey’s Scotland range. Prices start from £104,995 for the two bedroom Burrell apartment. The development is open Thursday to Monday from 10am-5.30pm. For more information visit taylorwimpey.co.uk/fordellea.

*£99 initial reservation fee payable on day of reservation.
