Sales success for Redrow in Liverpool
With more than 30 sales already secured and buyers simply waiting for properties to be released onto the market, Redrow is celebrating the success of The Avenue at Summerhill Park, Liverpool.
Properties at the popular development are selling fast thanks to a winning combination of the high specification and a range of incentives to help get people moving.
And this Sunday (May 19) buyers will be able to discover more about 95 % mortgages, available through the NewBuy initiative.
Julie Harper, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explains: “The sales rate at The Avenue at Summerhill Park really is phenomenal and since the show home opened in January we’ve sold 22 homes. Quite simply we can’t build them quick enough as we also have several customers who are simply waiting for their dream home to be put on the market so that they can commit to buy. By making an early bird reservation they will be given the first refusal on that property when it’s released for sale. It means they can take advantage of buying ‘off plan’ and secure the home of their choice in the position they want.
“There’s even the chance to buy with a 5% deposit and 95% mortgage thanks to NewBuy, which is great for those who can meet the monthly mortgage repayments but don’t have a large savings pot.”
Current availability at The Avenue at Summerhill Park includes a good choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes with prices from £134,995.
While NewBuy offers 95% mortgages, there are other incentives available such as Help to Buy and Mastermove.
Help to Buy is the new Government-backed scheme that enables people with a 5% deposit to take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the price of a brand new home. Those who buy in this way should be able to access some of the better mortgage rates, usually reserved for people with substantial savings.
Alternatively, those with a property to sell could benefit from Redrow’s Mastermove service. Redrow will enlist the help of a tried and trusted local agent to sell the customer’s home and even pay the agent’s fees at the end of the day.
