Discerning home-hunters will soon have the opportunity to secure their very own slice of semi-rural living with the launch of the new phase of Taylor Wimpey’s Billington Grove development in Leighton Buzzard.

The leading housebuilder is preparing to unveil Phase 3 of this popular new homes development to meet continuing demand for high-quality new-build properties at great prices in a desirable location.

The new collection of just 34 homes, which will range from stylish two-bedroom apartments through to stunning four-bedroom detached houses, will benefit from an attractive location bordered by beautiful open countryside.

The homes will also be near to a network of cycle and pedestrian paths beyond the boundary of Billington Grove, offering residents the chance to enjoy the great outdoors just moments from their doorstep.

Steve Rolt, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are incredibly excited by the upcoming launch of Phase 3 here at Billington Grove, which will offer savvy homebuyers the chance to secure a stunning home on the edge of open countryside.

“While we are keeping full details of the new phase under wraps for now, property-hunters can still take their pick from the homes available in the current selection – many of which will be ready for a summer move.

“However, due to the popularity of the new homes in Phase 2, I would urge would-be buyers to pay us a visit sooner rather than later to ensure they can take their pick of the plots!”

One-bedroom starter homes are currently on sale at Billington Grove from £120,000, while four-bedroom properties are priced from only £235,000, and five-bedroom houses from £340,000.

All homes at Billington Grove are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Homes at the development are available with the Government’s new Help to Buy shared equity scheme, enabling first-time buyers and those looking to move home to purchase their new property for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy involves a Government loan of up to 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for purchasers using the scheme.

The NewBuy initiative, meanwhile, gives credit-worthy purchasers in a variety of circumstances the chance to access their ideal home with a 95% mortgage.

Billington Grove lies on the edge of the picturesque Bedfordshire countryside, yet just over a mile from Leighton Buzzard town centre and within easy reach of excellent commuter routes.

Leighton Buzzard boasts an appealing variety of independent stores, boutiques, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and bars alongside a wide range of high street retailers and supermarkets, while open-air markets including a popular farmers’ market are hosted regularly in the town.

The town also offers a selection of baby and toddler groups, nurseries and schools for children of all ages, while Billington Grove is also ideally placed for the region’s excellent transport links, with the A5 and M1 close by and regular rail services operating from Leighton Buzzard station to London Euston in 45 minutes, as well as to Milton Keynes, Northampton and Birmingham.
