Tesco launches £2 unlimited broadband - cheaper than a box of eggs

15th May 2013 Print

Tesco is slashing the price of its unlimited broadband service to just £2 a month, making it the cheapest unlimited broadband available that doesn’t involve paying for an additional telecoms service.

That’s unlimited broadband for less than a four pack of loo roll, or a dozen eggs!

Tesco Clubcard customers will be able to take advantage of the £2 unlimited Tesco broadband deal which also includes free evening and weekend calls when they take Tesco line rental at £14.90 a month for 12 months.

Those currently with BT will save almost £80 a year, that’s enough to fly you to Paris and back! There are also huge savings to be made for Talk Talk and PlusNet customers too.

Families can rest assured that they’ll get no nasty surprises from additional bills with the promise that there are no download limits on the low cost deal.

Customers will also receive one Clubcard point for every £1 spent and benefit from a UK call centre offering free technical support. Plus, the Tesco Happiness Promise means that if customers aren’t happy with the service within the first 3 months, they can leave without a penalty.

And the deal is even better for Tesco Mobile customers who are eligible for completely free Tesco Broadband for 12 months!

A Tesco Broadband spokesperson said: “Slashing our broadband prices again this year means that for just £2 a month British families can download music, play games online and stream films to their hearts’ content. It is our way of rewarding Tesco customers and we hope it goes some way to lightening the financial load.”
