Owning a stylish new home at a popular development in Barton upon Humber is now even easier with Help to Buy.

The introduction of the Government-backed equity loan scheme, means a three-bedroom property at Fox’s Fold can now be bought for an initial outlay of less than £100,000.

It has boosted enquiries from would-be home owners over and above the keen interest that’s already seen homes sell at an average of around one a week. So far this year, 17 homes have been sold and Redrow is working with other potential purchasers who are eager to buy.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), explains: “Fox’s Fold remains a popular choice with buyers. Many of them are moving across the Humber Bridge because they recognise that we’re offering exceptional value for money compared with some of the surrounding towns. Our prices were already competitive but Help to Buy makes owning a brand new home even easier to afford as it reduces not only the level of deposit required but the size of the mortgage too.”

Current availability at Fox’s Fold includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes. Prices start from £124,950 for a Norton style property that’s ready to move into. It can be purchased for an initial outlay of £99,960 with Help to Buy.

The Help to Buy price is made up of a 5% deposit from the customer of £6,248 and a mortgage of 93,712, which amounts to 75% of the property’s full value. The remaining share is covered by an equity loan, which is interest free for five years and can be repaid when the customer has more funds available or when they resell.

Designed for ease of living, the Norton enjoys an open plan layout that makes the most of the space available. The spacious lounge at the front of the property flows through to the combined kitchen and dining room, which in turn leads on to the rear garden via French doors.

Upstairs, the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite, with the remaining two bedrooms sharing the family bathroom.

“The Norton is perfect for those who want a quick move as it’s now ready to be occupied. We’ve already laid the carpets and fitted the kitchen with integrated top brand appliances so all the buyer will need to do is bring along their furniture and personal effects,” Patsy adds.

Located in Tofts Road, Fox’s Fold is close to some beautiful countryside and in a friendly market town, which boasts a traditional high street full of locally owned shops.

With three primary schools within one mile of the development, it’s well placed for buyers with children.
