New showhome opened at zero carbon development in Peterborough

Morris Homes has unveiled a new three storey showhome at its landmark zero carbon Vista village in Peterborough to give buyers a glimpse into the different types of properties available at the site.

The business has teamed up with interior designers Marren to furnish a three-bedroom Ixia property at the development on Cripple Sidings Lane, which joins the two three-bedroom show homes already open at Vista.

Properties at the development are built with a range of emission reducing features including rainwater harvesting technology and energy efficient combination boilers, and the new showhome has been styled to give buyers a flavour of how the rooms in the three storey Ixia can be laid out.

The spacious open plan living area on the first floor has been complimented with a generous corner sofa and a fully fitted kitchen, and the neutral theme throughout the house is interjected with splashes of purple and lime to show buyers how their home could look.

Two spacious bedrooms are joined by an en-suite and a bathroom on the top floor, whilst a third bedroom and a contemporary garden room are found on the ground floor.

There are currently a selection of three-bedroom homes on sale at Vista, which are available with the new Government Help to Buy scheme, which means buyers can get onto or move up the property ladder using just a five per cent deposit.
