easyJet to launch direct flights from Tel Aviv to Rome

11th June 2013 Print

easyJet has announced bi-weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Rome Fiumicino (FCO). Flights will start from 24 September 2013 and are on sale now at easyJet.com and easyJet’s mobile application.

easyJet continues to make travel easy and affordable for business and leisure passengers between Israel and Europe with this new service to Rome. Fares start from as little as €49.24 Tel Aviv–Rome (FCO) one way and €42.74 Rome–Tel Aviv one way, all taxes included.

easyJet was the first low fare airline to enter the Israeli market in November 2009. Since then demand has continuously grown and Rome Fiumicino becomes easyJet’s fifth connection to Israel in addition to London Luton, Manchester, Genever and Basel.

The new flight will connect two attractive destinations for business and leisure. Rome is one of Europe’s greatest cultural treasures as well as being a dynamic, modern capital city. With convenient schedules every Tuesdays and Saturdays, it is ideal for a short break.

Hugh Aitken, easyJet’s UK Commercial Manager said: "easyJet is a long term committed partner of the Israeli economy and tourism industry. As part of this great partnership, we are delighted to make Europe more accessible to Israeli business and leisure passengers with a fifth direct flight to Tel Aviv. We are confident that this new route will become as popular as the other flights we successfully operate to and from Israel."
