Stainton set for stylish new homes

26th June 2013 Print

House-builder Taylor Wimpey has announced work will soon begin on a new development at Rose Cottage Farm in Stainton Village, providing 106 new homes to meet local demand.

Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire are providing a mix of two bedroom bungalows, as well as three, four and five bedroom detached designs when the development opens in the summer.

Debbie Whittingham, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey said: “We are thrilled to once again be building in Stainton. It’s a fantastic location and we saw a real need for some stylish new designs, as well as bringing a range of schemes for both first and second-time buyers.”

The new government-backed Help to Buy scheme will be available for house-hunters, which gives the option of securing a new home with just a five per cent deposit; while Part Exchange will assist home-owners in selling their existing property, with Taylor Wimpey becoming the cash buyer for their home.

Debbie continued: “In an addition to the new homes, a considerable number of jobs will also be created during the build process and we will also be looking at ways in which we can help in the local area.

“Building is set to begin and with the location already proving popular, I’d recommend any interested parties get in touch sooner rather than later.”
