Help to Buy modern Malton homes

29th June 2013 Print

Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire has revealed 263 homes will be built at its new Broughton Manor development in Malton, along with the new government-backed Help to Buy scheme to aid prospective buyers.

The exciting new scheme is set to open to the public in the coming month, and will offer a range of three and four bedroom terrace and townhouses, together with three, four and five bed detached designs.

Debbie Whittingham, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey commented: “Broughton Manor will not only be a fantastic addition to Malton, but Malton home-buyers will now be able to benefit from Help to Buy. The scheme will open so many doors in terms of progressing on the property ladder or even taking that first-step.”

Help to Buy allows eligible purchasers the chance to secure a new home worth up to the value of £600k with just a five per cent deposit. Buyers also receive a 20 per cent equity loan from the government giving them a 75 per cent loan-to-value mortgage.

Debbie added: “We are asking interested buyers to register their interest for further updates on the development, and more details will be available at the sales office when we open for business this summer.

“We’re excited to be building in such a fantastic location and look forward to working with the local community as the site progresses.”
