New Super Luigi U now available as add-on content

Mario’s out of the picture – it’s Luigi’s time to shine! New Super Luigi U is now available as add-on content for New Super Mario Bros. U on Wii U, bringing new challenges, new actions, and even a new multiplayer character in the sneaky shape of Nabbit.

Take on 82 all-new courses using Luigi’s unique actions like a higher jump and greater momentum, but with only 100 seconds on the clock for each course you’ll have to hot-foot it to reach the Goal Pole in time! Jump into multiplayer with friends and family, where Nabbit is playable for the first time – while this cheeky character can’t use power-ups, he also doesn’t take any damage if he bumps into enemies, so he’s an ideal character for anyone who finds action games tricky.

New Super Luigi U is now available as add-on content for New Super Mario Bros. U, and from July 26th as a standalone Game Disc exclusively available during 2013 – The Year of Luigi! In order to play the add-on content version of New Super Luigi U you'll need a copy of New Super Mario Bros. U (sold separately), and you'll need to update New Super Mario Bros. U to version 1.3.0 to play New Super Luigi U.

The content of the Game Disc version of New Super Luigi U is the same as the add-on content for New Super Mario Bros. U. New Super Mario Bros. U is not included, and is not required to play the Game Disc version of New Super Luigi U.
