Enjoy a combination of city and countryside walks and sightseeing - with scenic trails above, and a cruise below Niagara Falls, wildlife watching and vibrant French culture - on a new for 2014 Journey to Niagara courtesy of HF Holidays – UK walking and leisure activity holiday organisation which is celebrating its Centenary in 2013.

The journey begins with the sights of Montreal – the historic heart of French Canada – before continuing to the wildlife rich shores of Sacacomie for lakeshore and forest walks looking out for beaver and black bear.

Further highlights include the UNESCO World Heritage city of Québec with strolls in the battlefields of the Plains of Abraham and trails in Jacques-Cartier Provincial Park; the sights of Toronto – including the CN Tower – and St Catherines for walks in the rolling countryside and Ball Fall’s Conservation Area as well as sampling some of the area’s world famous wines.

It’s then on to Niagara Falls to walk the scenic trails that surround it – including a section of Canada’s first ever, and longest hiking trail, the Bruce Trail – and to enjoy a cruise on the Maid of the Mist and a guided winery visit to sample more fine wines.

Available with selected departures in 2014, the cost of this 12-day holiday is £2899 per person, land-only or £3559 (13 days) inclusive of return Heathrow flights and transfers.

These twin-share prices also include 11 nights’ mainly full board accommodation in three and four-star hotels, the full holiday programme with a specialist local leader, plus internal flight, national park entrance fees and travel by air-conditioned coach.
