Fuelled by the economy, UK shoppers now spend more time than ever finding the best deal, reluctant to pay the full price for anything again. With one shopper joining the Quidco revolution every 29 seconds the new wave of loyalty platform forecasts that sales revenues will reach the £1b mark this year, returning £70m worth of cashback to its members.

Adam Ross, Chief Operating Officer at Global Performance Network and provider of the results, Affiliate Window said: "Consumer purchasing behaviour is always evolving and the phenomenal growth seen in the cashback sector is a clear demonstration of that evolution.  Online customers are drawn to value and where better to find this than through sites like Quidco.

Retailers have discovered the cashback customer is smart, professional, knows their way around the web and has plenty of disposable income.  These are high value customers, often new and they typically spend more each time they visit.

As a response to this, retailers are focusing more energy on curating their presence on cashback sites and ensuring their offers are as appealing as possible.  It's creating a positive feedback loop that's ultimately benefitting all parties."
