Virgin Atlantic offers passengers 'third in line' the Royal treatment

22nd July 2013 Print

With the whole world awaiting the arrival of the Royal baby, Virgin Atlantic is commemorating the birth by offering passengers who check in “third in line,” access to the airline’s award-winning Clubhouses on the day of the birth.

Whether a passenger checks in online or in person, and wherever they are flying, the third person issued a boarding pass on Virgin Atlantic flights departing from both London Heathrow and London Gatwick, will receive a special pass to the Clubhouse for themselves and their party.

Matthew Callard, Head of Clubhouses for Virgin Atlantic said, “We fly over 9,000 passengers a day from both Heathrow and Gatwick and we look forward to surprising some of them with a Clubhouse pass. We’re sure the new baby will be enjoying the royal treatment from day one but we wanted to offer our passengers a little taste of the high life too. Our Clubhouses offer an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the airport where passengers can relax and unwind to get in the holiday spirit.

”From getting a Kate-inspired blowdry at the bumble & bumble salon, a relaxing massage at the spa through to wetting the baby’s head over a glass of champagne, the Clubhouse is the perfect place to chill out and live like a royal for a few hours.”
