Mini fashionistas will be able to show their support for charity this summer as Debenhams has joined forces with BBC Children in Need to create an exclusive range of designer clothing, which is launching in stores and online this week.

Debenhams challenged celebrities Tess Daly and Jeff Brazier, along with three of its designers, a fashion editor and a mummy blogger to create a fun t-shirt or onesie for children to be sold in its stores and online at Debenhams.com. As well as the usual childrenwear favourites such as Donna and Markus by Markus Lupfer, Frostfrench by Sadie Frost and Jemima French and Debenham’s own brand Bluezoo, celebrity parents Tess Daly and Jeff Brazier have designed fun and fabulous t-shirts for little ones aged 2-10.

Launching in 80 stores this week, the range of eight tees and a onesie has incorporated the signature BBC Children in Need spots design. The T-shirts are priced at £7, the onesie at £12 and all profits will be donated to the charity.

BBC Children in Need works throughout the year, supporting local projects across the UK to help make a difference to young lives and the Designer collection is the perfect way for children to show their support and help raise money for the charity.

Celebrity designer Tess Daly commented: “I’m thrilled to be involved with this project. Girls will love wearing their fashion fun pink Pudsey tees, which are a summer must have!”

Designer Jeff Brazier commented: “BBC Children in Need helps so many disadvantaged children and young people. It’s great to think that anyone who buys a t-shirt or onesie will be helping the charity to make a difference to young lives. I like to think my design is the perfect way for little men to feel smart in a fun t-shirt this summer”

Adam Rose, Director of Childrenswear at Debenhams said: “We are excited to continue our partnership with BBC Children in Need and support its vital work through the launch of this fabulous range of designer childrenswear. We are sure that Mums, Dads and most importantly kids will love the fun designer styles and snap them straight up, raising lots of money at the same time.”

The whole range incorporates the spot theme in some way and includes special features such as a fun ice cream design from FrostFrench on a soft grey onesie.

Jeff Brazier’s unique design features a mini t-shirt, tie and jacket print, with a cute little Pudsey peeking out of the pocket.

Tess Daly’s hot pink and gold leopard print t-shirt will light up wardrobes of little fashionistas across the UK this summer.

Donna Air and Markus Lupfer’s design includes a huge silver Pudsey Bear, complete with sparkling sequins, and Pineapple’s design is of Pudsey’s friend ‘Blush’ dancing at a ballet class.

Fashion editor of Notebook (Sunday Mirror supplement) Carly Stevens opted for a fun playful design of two birds for her unisex tee, while mummy blogger Erica Davies of Modern Mum Must Have created a stylish spots and stripes design.

Children’s favourite, The Gruffalo is also on board with an exclusively designed tee featuring a new illustration of the lovable monster by Axel Scheffler.

Tess Daly, Jeff Brazier, Donna Air, Markus Lupfer, Sadie Frost and Jemima French the design duo ‘FrostFrench’, plus Debbie Moore from Pineapple, and not forgetting The Gruffalo himself, can all be seen in the campaign photography, along with Carly Stevens, fashion editor of Notebook and Erica Davies from Modern Mum Must-Have.
