Morris Homes has released its first selection of four-bedroom properties at Vista to give growing families the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of sustainable living.

Vista, off London Road in Peterborough’s South Bank area, is the UK’s largest zero carbon village. When complete it will include 295 properties that benefit from the latest energy reducing technology.

The new four-bedroom homes include a mix of semi-detached, detached and three-storey properties. All include eco-friendly features such as rainwater harvesting and Mechanical Heat Ventilation Recovery units to heat the homes, and can be purchased using the Government backed Help to Buy scheme.

Help to Buy makes it easier for buyers to get onto, or move up, the property ladder, requiring them to only save a five per cent deposit. The buyer is then supported by the Government, which provides a 20 per cent equity loan that is interest free for the first five years.

This means that with Help to Buy, the new four-bedroom properties at Vista can be purchased with a deposit of just £11,737.

Cindy Cade, regional sales director at Morris, said: “We have seen great sales success at Vista since it launched with our two and three-bedroom properties proving popular with buyers.

“The new four-bedroom properties are ideal for larger families who can benefit from savings of up to £310 per year on their energy bills.”

Vista is situated close to local shops and amenities and is just a short walk away from the city centre, with great transport links to London and the Midlands from the nearby train station.

The four-bedroom homes at Vista are on sale from £234,750 or £187,800 with Help to Buy. For more information on the schemes and properties available at Vista visit the sales office off London Road, Cripple Sidings Lane, Peterborough, PE2 8AL (open Thursday to Monday from 10:30am to 5:30pm), visit morrisvista.co.uk.
