New app to help back pain sufferers

The Simplyhealth Back Care app, found in the Apple Store and Google Play will provide users with tips and advice on how to maintain a healthy back as well as offering suggested exercises for people already suffering with back pain.
 
Simplyhealth has teamed up with BackCare, the UK's national charity for back and neck pain, to launch the latest app on 9 September 2013. The app will be promoted in a national television advertising campaign, and will help to raise awareness of the problem of back pain and the charity. For every download, Simplyhealth pledges to donate £1 to BackCare, up to £120,000.

"Our free back care app has over 20 exercises to help people to cope with their back pain. There's also much more information about how to prevent back pain, at home, work or when out and about.
 
"Users will also be able to use the app to keep a diary of their back pain, watch videos, form an exercise plan which they can follow and find qualified practitioners in their area."
