Capital Karts to open Britain’s longest indoor Go Karting track

November 1st will see Capital Karts open Britain’s longest indoor Go Karting track.  Three times the length of a regular track, Capital Karts offers an exhilarating racing experience just a stone’s throw from Central London.

In a UK first, adrenalin junkies can race like Michael Schumacher in RIMO Alpha Go Karts, the premium brand used by the F1 legend at his centres in Germany.  Combined with a professionally designed 1050m European-style track, unlike any other in the country, Capital Karts is the ultimate authentic driving experience.

Visitors can enjoy speeds in excess of 45mph when hitting the 80metre main straight in the course.

Only 15 minutes from central London, Capital Karts is easy to get to for anyone based in the capital, or outside with easy access via public transport by road, rail, tube and overground.

There are Go Karts suitable for adults (16 years and above), children (8 to 15 years coming in January) and the disabled.  Two-seater karts are also available for couples and all activity is overseen by trained staff, some of whom are high level amateur racing drivers themselves.

Formula 1 technology has been used on the impact barriers, to give a more professional experience and the surface of the track has extra grip, making for a safer and more authentic drive.

Prices start from £32.99 per person for 30 minutes of driving.

Capital Karts has been set up by Matthew Holyfield and Alastair Flynn, both in their thirties, who wanted to translate their own passion for racing into the UK’s premiere karting experience.
