For a county rightly proud of its food heritage, each year Lincoln celebrates the county’s most famous export - the Lincolnshire Sausage.

A firm favourite on the annual events calendar, foodie fans are in for a sizzling treat on Saturday 26th October 2013 when the county celebrates the Lincolnshire Sausage with award-winning food stalls and entertainment for all the family.

Throw in free entry and the picturesque setting of cobbled medieval streets and a dramatic castle, it’s no surprise that the Festival has become one of the region’s biggest food events.

Stalls of the best Lincolnshire produce, sausage making demonstrations, a children’s cookery demonstration area and street entertainment - including from the 'Cosmic Sausages' along with 'Mr Sausage', who will be making appearances throughout the day - combine to create a great family event.
