Taylor Wimpey’s popular Highlea Gardens development in Durham has now fully sold, with the house-builder directing buyers to two nearby developments.

Local buyers are spolit for choice with Moorcroft in Spennymoor and Durham Gate in Thinford both showcasing a range of homes that encapsulate the essence of modern luxury living.

Joan Peart, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North East said: “Highlea Gardens proved extremely popular with local buyers thanks to the excellent lifestyle on offer combined with the fantastic range of homes and excellent local amenities.

“It is for these exact reasons that we are convinced that we believe Moorcroft and Durham Gate will appeal to local buyers. With a range of stunning affordable homes to choose from, the developments will appeal to everyone from first time buyers and couples to families.”

Moorcroft offers a superb range of three and four bedroom homes in a semi-rural setting, making it the perfect environment for growing families.

Prices at Moorcroft start from just £129,995 and with a choice of ten home designs, there is a style for every taste.

Durham Gate meanwhile offers a selection of high quality three and four bedroom homes starting at £134,995. The development is ideal for commuters, with the A1M just three miles away and Durham train station within five miles.

Homes at both schemes are available with buyer incentives, such as Help to Buy and Part Exchange.

Help to Buy enables customers to reserve a brand new home worth up to £600,000 with just five per cent deposit.

Part Exchange meanwhile enables homeowners to move quickly with Taylor Wimpey becoming the cash buyer for their existing property.

Joan concludes: “Interested buyers should definitely get in touch sooner rather than later, as we’re experiencing a rise footfall at these two fabulous developments. This interest will only hot up further with the completion of Highlea Gardens.”
