A special visit by the Mayor of Gorseinon has marked the official opening of a new show home at Elan’s latest development near Swansea.

The Mayor, Cllr Pam Morgan, cut the ribbon at Parc Gwyn Faen to declare the brand new four-bedroom ‘Belvoir’ show home open to the public.

Parc Gwyn Faen, on Brynafon Road, will eventually feature a total of 30 beautifully crafted properties including four affordable homes as part of a brand new community.

The new homes are close to the picturesque Loughor estuary and the development has been enjoying much success since its launch, with ten of the properties already sold ‘off plan’ on the first phase.

Andrea Nippe, sales director for Elan Homes in the South, said: “It was an honour to welcome the Mayor, Cllr Pam Morgan, to our launch event and show her around Parc Gwyn Faen. We’re delighted with the popularity of the development so far and it’s great to now be able to welcome homebuyers to our show home, which displays the high quality specification on offer.

Some of the homes will be ready to move into before Christmas and a new phase is also set to be released to give South Wales house hunters even more choice in this outstanding location.

The four-bedroom ‘Belvoir’ show home, which means ‘beautiful view’ has been professionally designed by Calico Interiors to give homebuyers a touch of interior inspiration and show how the space and layout can be used.

It features a chic and vibrant colour scheme with black, white and grey tones brought to life with splashes of fuchsia pink. The contemporary kitchen and breakfast room includes multi-coloured panel blinds, while the lounge has an elegant feel with a classic charcoal grey suite. The master bedroom’s monochrome theme adds glamour while the fourth bedroom is perfect for a fan of Lougher RFC, who Elan will be teaming up with to sponsor the club’s mini section.

Close to the River Loughor and on the doorstep of the magnificent Gower Peninsula, the location has been a major selling point for the collection of three and four-bedroom homes.

Prices start from £190,995 and a four-bedroom ‘Belvoir’, like the show home, is available for £199,995.

Gorseinon is just a couple of miles from the M4 offering easy access to nearby Swansea or Cardiff and Mid Wales. Gowerton railway station is only 15 minutes away with regular trains to London and the Midlands.
