Taylor Wimpey set to unveil stunning new homes in Perranporth

Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey will soon be building a fantastic collection of 120 new homes in the seaside resort of Perranporth, Cornwall.

This exciting new development, located off Liskey Hill, will feature 60 three and four-bedroom family-sized homes together with a selection of affordable homes for local people.

The proposed development will be accessed from Liskey Hill, with two new right-hand turn lanes provided, and will include an area of landscaped open space.

Taylor Wimpey will also look to make a number of contributions towards improving community facilities and public infrastructure in the local area, including donating land to extend facilities at Perranporth Primary School, plus an education contribution of £109,500.

All new homes will feature the latest energy-saving measures including modern insulation and energy-efficient boilers, and will be heated with LPG gas as there is no natural gas supply to the town.

Perranporth enjoys a fabulous location on the north coast of Cornwall, seven miles away from Truro. A popular destination for surfers and other watersports enthusiasts, it boasts a three-mile long beach, with stunning sand dunes which extend a mile inland.

The town benefits from a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, while parents will appreciate that Perranporth Primary School, which neighbours the development, was rated ‘good’ in its latest Ofsted inspection.

Commuters will enjoy easy access to the A30 for journeys to Truro, just a 15 minute drive away, and beyond, and Truro railway station offers services to Plymouth, Exeter and London Paddington.
